Lighting of Breckenridge & Running of the Santas
The first weekend in December begins Breckenridge's annual transformation into a sparkling holiday scene. The Race of the Santas is where hundreds of Santa look-alikes race down Main Street. Breckenridge makes an event of lighting up the Blue River Plaza on Main Street to kick off the holiday festivities.

Breck Pride
Renowned for the welcoming spirit and friendly character of the locals, with more than 200 restaurants, bars, and numerous year-round activities and events, Breck embodies more than just a destination, inspiring a way of life. Breck Pride is for everyone—LGBTQ, straight, skiers, snowboarders, beginners, experts, supporters—come one, come all! Come as you are. Week-long events include a Welcome Reception, First Tracks, all-day live music, and the Breck Color Run.

Ullr Fest
Join 12,000 people for a parade down Main Street to welcome winter with Ullr! You can participate in the town's largest bonfire and donate your used Christmas tree to burn or participate in the world's longest ski shot! Pray for snow with us and Ullr himself... he is ready for a good party.

International Snow Sculpture
Watch as 16 teams from around the world descend on Breckenridge, Colorado to hand-carve 20-ton blocks of snow into enormous, intricate works of art. Artists are only allowed to use hand tools, creativity, and inspiration to bring their ideas to life.
