Vail Village
When you set foot in Vail Village, something magical happens. You see the shimmering lights, the snow-dusted trees, you hear the babble of the creek and feel that fresh mountain air in your lungs.
As you stroll on the heated cobblestone streets, you realize something: you’re home.
Here, you can disconnect from your everyday life and reconnect with your friends and family. You feel at one with the beautiful nature surrounding you and want to drink in the mountain’s majesty.
Main village area with all the shopping, world-class restaurants, cafes, and late-night hot spots needed for an all-inclusive experience while retaining a peaceful, small-town ambiance.
This iconic pedestrian village was built by Vail’s founders in the early 60s with a nod to classic European alpine architecture.
Vail Village is also home to some of the most famous boutique and luxury hotels, including The Lodge at Vail (Vail's original hotel), Hotel Gasthof Gramshammer (better known as Pepi's), The Sebastian, Austria Haus, and the Solaris.

Lionshead
The beautiful and friendly Lionshead Village is completely closed off to cars and buses, offering a short walk to the Eagle Bahn gondola, Chair 8 (Born Free Express), Lionshead Children's Ski School, the Arrabelle Square outdoor ice rink, and numerous shops and restaurants.
Originally built in the late 60s, Lionshead was recently renovated in Austrian-inspired style.
Lionshead lodging features hotels such as the Arrabelle at Vail Square, Antlers at Vail, the Ritz-Carlton Residences, The Lion, the Vail Marriott Mountain Resort, and many other hotels and condos.

Golden Peak
Just a 5-minute walk east of Vail Village, Golden Peak is a peaceful and convenient location.
From Golden Peak's base, you can watch ski racers speeding through gates or even snag a front-row seat to events like the Burton U.S. Open.
The base is home to the Riva Bahn Express Lift (Chair 6) just below the Golden Peak Ski School, Vail's Child Care and Nursery facilities, and is the main access point to Vail's Golden Peak Terrain Park.
Lodging options include Manor Vail and the Tivoli Lodge.
