Whistler Blackcomb

• ‍Adult Lessons: Whistler Blackcomb offers group and private lessons for adults. Group lessons help improve skills in a social setting, while private lessons provide personalized instruction for individuals, families, or small groups.
• Kids Lessons: Tailored lessons for children aged 3 to 12 (ski) and 5 to 12 (snowboard), designed to make learning fun in a supportive environment.
• Teen Lessons: Group lessons for teens aged 13 to 18, focusing on building confidence and skills in a fun, social setting. Lessons are grouped by ability level to ensure appropriate instruction.
• First-Timer Lessons: Beginner lessons for adults and children focusing on the basics, including equipment, stopping, and linking simple turns. These lessons make it easy to start your mountain adventure.
• Ski or Ride with an Olympian: A unique opportunity to ski or snowboard with an Olympian, receiving expert guidance while exploring the best terrain.
• Adaptive Ski & Sports Program: Adaptive lessons for individuals with disabilities, delivered by highly trained instructors to ensure everyone can enjoy skiing or snowboarding.

Below is an overview of the different ability levels offered at Whistler Blackcomb Snow School:

• Level 1: Never skied or snowboarded before.
• Level 2: I would rather ski/ride at slow speed. Green runs remain a challenge.
• Level 3: I can link turns on green runs, I rarely venture onto blue runs.
• Level 4: I ski/ride at moderate speed on blue runs.
• Level 5: I ski/ride blue runs and sometimes black runs. I might like to learn short turns, moguls, and powder.
• Level 6: I enjoy the challenge of skiing/riding in all conditions and terrain.

The Snow School operates out of Whistler Village, Blackcomb Base, and Creekside and certain lessons are available from select base areas only. Each location offers easy access to equipment rentals and meeting areas. Guests are encouraged to arrive early with the necessary lift tickets and equipment.
