If you’re ready to turn your skiing and riding ability up a notch, join one of our adult clinics taught by the Adult Ski and Ride Team. There’s no better place or time to expand your ability. With Crested Butte’s diverse terrain and the lively and cohesive atmosphere of the clinics, you’re sure to not only be challenged but also have fun with a group of like-minded people.

Private lessons are designed to offer individually tailored instruction for adults, teens, and kids. Private half-day AM, private half-day PM, and private full-day lessons are available. Private lessons are limited to 6 people per session.

First Tracks is a fantastic opportunity to ski for an hour, 8 - 9 am, before the lifts officially open for the day. This is an awesome chance to ski untouched powder and groomed runs before anyone else.

The experience is guided by one instructor for every six guests and takes place on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays throughout the season.

World Champion Wendy Fisher is an icon in the sport of big mountain freeskiing, also known as extreme skiing. Her successful freeskiing career has included traveling the globe to film with production companies including Matchstick Productions and Warren Miller.

Prior to her film career, Fisher was a member of the U.S. Ski Team, competed at the 1992 Olympics in Albertville, France, won the 1991 U.S. Nationals overall, in addition to taking home two Extreme Freeskiing world titles.

Fisher is a full-time resident of Mt. Crested Butte, CO along with her husband and two sons.

This is the perfect opportunity to ski privately with one of the biggest icons in the skiing world. If you are looking to explore Crested Butte’s intermediate to most challenging and technical lines with an extreme ski star, or get advice from a pro, this is an exclusive opportunity that is hard to pass up. Private Lessons are limited to 6 people per session.

One of our goals at the Crested Butte Ski and Ride School is to provide an educational pipeline for skiing and snowboarding geared for children. We introduce the sport of skiing and snowboarding, build fundamental skills, and provide progression opportunities for youth to move from their first turns to confidently exploring all the incredible terrain around our mountain in a safe and fun group environment.
