Childcare: On Mountain
Just For Me Because I'm 3
If you're looking for private instruction for your 3-year-old child, check out our Just for Me Program. It's never too early to start your child's love for the slopes! These half-hour lessons are a great way to introduce your child to a lifetime of skiing.
Ski & Play
The “All Day Ski and Play” program is geared towards beginner skiers who are not yet ready for a full day of lessons, but gives the parent the option of having their 4-6 year old child cared for the entire day (up to 9 hours during regular PlayCare operation times).
*Open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during regular season 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Plus midweek during designated holiday periods.

Snow School
Whether you prefer steep, technical terrain or flat and forgiving slopes, we have a lesson to help you sharpen your skills and explore the mountain with confidence.
Adult Lessons
Whether it’s your first time on snow or you are a seasoned skier looking to refine your skills, we have a small group lesson for you. Our world-class instructors are committed to providing you with a safe and fun experience.
Children's Lessons
Give your child a passion for the mountains and watch them develop a love of skiing or snowboarding in a small group setting.
Children age 4-6: private lessons only are available
Children age 7+: maximum class size of six
Children are also welcome in a family private lesson
Private Lessons
Private Lessons offer skiers and riders of all ability levels the opportunity to customize their experience with an expert instructor handpicked to match their style, goals, and personality. Consider them your exclusive concierge and personal coach, as they work specifically on your skills, help you explore the mountain safely, and share insider knowledge.
Each private lesson accommodates up to 4 people in your group.

Empire Terrain Parks
Hunter Mountain shows their commitment, dedication & focus to freestyle terrain. The empire parks staff work hard to create, sculpt and meticulously maintain features that provide accessibility & participation for all ages and abilities. Empire Parks pays homage to the great state of New York, known for its distinct personality & culture.
Park Avenue
Park Avenue, located on the main face of Hunter Mountain, is Empire Parks' signature terrain park! From the top, you can find plenty of jumps, transitions, rails, and so much more.
Park Avenue West
Your last stop in our terrain park series is the spot you'll find all of the unique & exciting freestyle terrain events here at Hunter! Try out your style like a Pro in the park. Park builds on Park Ave West are ever-changing.

Snow Tubing
Tubing lanes nearly 1,000 feet long, a snack bar, fire pit, and tons of family fun - Hunter Mountain's snow tubing park is an adventure for all ages! With a carpet lift to get you back to the top, you can slide more and walk less. Great for groups, parties, retreats, and a fun winter alternative to skiing and snowboarding.

Ski and Ride Programs
Adult Co-Ed Ski and Ride Program (18+)
Join one of our fun Adult Co-ed seasonal groups. Adult Seasonal Programs are open to skiers or riders who are Intermediate to Advanced in their respective sport. Ski or ride with the same group on weekends throughout the winter season.
Teen Pro Development
Advanced skiers or snowboarders, must be comfortable on all single black diamond terrain. This program serves as the first step in gaining the skills necessary to become an instructor, coach, or patroller at Hunter Mountain.
Jr. Development Program
Join one of our many development programs for Intermediate to Advanced skiers or riders. At this stage, groups are beginning to become more focused on developing their all-mountain skills. Some of our groups focus specifically on Alpine Development, Mogul/Freestyle Development, or are simply grouped with other children who they enjoy skiing or riding with all season long.
Mighty Mights
Skiers who are able to at least perform the wedge, stopping wedge, and make controlled turns on green terrain. Minimum requirement is to ski comfortably on all green terrain (Mossy Brook included). Groups will be formed with other kids similar in skill.

Competition Teams
Hunter Mountain’s premier programs for young athletes ages 7 to 20. Our programs are designed for skiers who are looking to excel with a focus on fostering fundamental skills. Our athletes will grow by working through a progression of tasks and drills that are organized into a step-by-step process.
Alpine Ski and Snowboard Teams
Our alpine programs are geared to guide athletes to obtain fundamental and advanced skills for competition events. Our training focuses on the two technical events of Slalom and Giant Slalom.
Freestyle Team
If you prefer bumps and jumps, this is the program for you. This program is designed for athletes who are actively working towards competitive mogul skiing.
Development Team
Our Development team is for children who aspire to one day join our freestyle or alpine competition teams but do not possess the skills or are unsure about the commitment of the competition programs.

National Standard Race
NASTAR is the National Standard Race, where skiers and riders of all ability levels can compete against times set by members of the US Ski Team.
Location: Lower Broadway - GS set unless advertised otherwise
Regular Schedule: Mon & Fri @ 10am AND Sat & Sun: After events until 2pm*
*Please check our calendar for info on race days and conflicting competition events being held on Lower Broadway Trail.
Register: Registration is also available online and also at Snowsport & Guest Services in advance or on hill at the start building.

Scotties Summit Lodge Cafe
The perfect excuse to visit our unique summit lounge! In our café located 3,200 feet above sea level, you'll find treats like soups, chili, hot dogs, fresh oven-baked stuffed potatoes, hot and cold specialty sandwiches, and burgers. A fast and convenient place to stop on a great ski or ride day!
Pika's Waffle Shop
We've all heard of the famous Belgian Waffle, but the Belgian Liege Waffle is in another class. Made with genuine Belgian Pearl Sugar, in dough instead of batter, these waffles are a crisp and sweet treat. The Waffle Stop is located on the slope at the bottom of the Empire Terrain Park, for slide-up convenience.
