- The mountain has four separate mountain faces: Hunter Mountain, Hunter East, Hunter West, and Hunter North.
- Hunter Mountain continues to show their commitment, dedication, and focus on freestyle terrain. Empire Terrain Parks include 3 freestyle areas that offer various terrain.
- As a leader in the industry, Hunter Mountain became the first area in the world to achieve summit to base snowmaking. It was also the first area in the world to feature snowmaking on 100% of its trails. Hunter was then known as the Snowmaking Capital of the World. Snowmaking innovations continued as Hunter became the first area in the US to implement an automated snowmaking system.
- The Learning Center is an award-winning and nationally recognized facility catering to families and beginners.

Peak Resorts is comprised of 17 resorts that are located in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Midwest, near major metropolitan areas including New York, Boston, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Columbus, St. Louis, Kansas City, and Louisville.
The resorts in the Northeast are: Mount Snow in Vermont; Hunter Mountain in New York; and Attitash Mountain Resort, Wildcat Mountain, and Crotched Mountain in New Hampshire. In the Mid-Atlantic, the resorts are: Liberty Mountain Resort, Roundtop Mountain Resort, Whitetail Resort, Jack Frost, and Big Boulder in Pennsylvania. In the Midwest, the resorts are: Alpine Valley, Boston Mills, Brandywine, and Mad River Mountain in Ohio; Hidden Valley and Snow Creek in Missouri; and Paoli Peaks in Indiana.
